Hello

I created Email Notification Workflow from this guide (https://itsolutions.bdo.ca/insights/how-to-create-an-email-notification-workflow-in-microsoft-dynamics-crm-2015/).

Everything working fine except one thing with link to sales opportunity. When email recipient trying to open link, he is redirected to sales opportunity and its ok. But when recipient will forward this email from CRM to some one else, this person (with all permissions to open this sales opportunity) trying to open link, getting error.0247.error.JPG

Any one could explain me how this generating links working? And what is wrong?

Regards

    Yes, these urls arent same.

    The good one have: &pagetype=entityrecord#143828870

The bad forwarded one have only: &pagetype=entityrecord%20

But why in forwarded email there is a wrong link? I really dont get it :)

    Hi,

what if you copy the url that is sent in first time and share to that user, can he/she open it without error?

    Hi,

yes, you do not have any way to change it via oob method, unless you want to create custom workflow to generate the link yourself.
