How do i get approval dates on PO approvals in business central?

i need to get approval date field to track PO approvals. Right now it only change the status to released but no way to know when it was released/approved. Is there any way to get approval date field to track approvals ?

Hi,

As far as I know, Purchase Order does not have an approval date or release date. The approval date is held by the approval details in the workflow.

You would need to develop it to meet your requirements, just add an approval date field to the PO header and set the date when it is approved by the workflow.
When the workflow is approved, the status of the voucher is set to "Released", so it is a good idea to set the approval date at the same time. The same goes for the release date.

Don't forget to reset the date when the approval is revoked or when the release is opened.

As Yun noted, you can use the Approval Entries and compare the see the Date Modified as when the reply was sent back.
