Business Process Flow, not visible for all records of entity items

Hi there,

I have defined a business process flow on a custom entity. I've imported some records to that entity, but the BPF is not visible to all those records.

But if I create a new record with the add new button, the BPF is shown on that record.

What is the issue that I can't have BPF on all the records?

Regards

    Thanks

The question is why I have my BPF displayed only on some of my records (about 500 out of 6000) and the [X_MSCRM].[dbo].[bpf_Base] entity has only those 500 records in it. Is there a way I could populated [X_MSCRM].[dbo].[bpf_Base] entity with all 6000 records.

    thanks

    Thanks

The question is why I have my BPF displayed only on some of my records (about 500 out of 6000) and the [X_MSCRM].[dbo].[bpf_Base] entity for my first BPF has those 500 records in it, and the other BPF that I created with the name [X_MSCRM].[dbo].[bpf_fileBase], is empty?

    Hi,

with Dynamics 365, every bpfs is an entity. Read about the below post, and please let the processid alone, because it is deprecated soon.

Write a Javascript, trigger on load, help user switch the process, if the processid is null.

    Hi dear Jeet Gandhi,

Many thanks for your reply, I'm using CRM version 8.2.2.

The fields "stageid" and"processid" you mentioned as well as the field "traversedpath" were NULL, so I updated these fields in the database with related BPF id and active stage. but unfortunately the business process flow wouldn't appear for the updated records.

    Best regards

RE: Business Process Flow, not visible for all records of entity items

    Hi,

It is because in the records imported, the fields "stageid" and"processid" (that indicates the related BPF and active stage) are null. When the record is created from "New" button, these fields are populated by CRM with the active entity BPF.

Thus, when the records are imported, these fields must be populated with the relevant BPF and stage.

Please know, for CRM versions 9.0 and further, the way has been changed like a seperate BPF entity is created and a record is created for each entity where the BPF is visible.

    Hope it would be helpful.

    Thank you,

    Thanks dear Goutam Das,

I've deactivate and reactivate the business process flow, and even  tried to write a new one on that entity, but it didn't work.

    Hi ,

Try to deactivate and reactivate the business process flow.

Not sure looks like below reference may helps you to resolve the issue -
