Book Review: Accolade Publications Extending MS Dynamics GP

Has anyone purchased Accolade Publications Extending MS Dynamics GP book and can give me an honest review.  I don’t know anything about Extender and wondering if there is a market need for Extender and if this book would provide the knowledge base required to get a good understanding of Extender and start working with it.

I am a developer but I do not wish to learn Dex as there are waaaay too many other IT skill avenues to go down these days.  However, I’d like to stick with a product that has an installed base like GP and just wondering if there is a need for Extender and if this book is worth the $135 price.

Note: I have purchased several of Accolade’s books before and they have all been very informative but this is not about accounting per se it seems like more of a development book, hence the reason for my question.

Thanks.
