Hi
is there a way to print dates on the labels as we print them , on a daily bases I print labels for products and I like to know how old the products are and when I get them, right now I could put the dates on Vendor Item# but I don't want to do it for every item I recevied is there a way to run a query that when I print labels it would put today's date on all vendor item# ?

Iraj,
Not sure if this is too late, but I though I'd add my thoughts. Over the years we have found a number of limitations with RMS Label Printing. To fill the gaps we created an RMS Plug-in called RITE Label. Among the features offered by RITE Label is about 2 dozen more label variables that one can add to a label to print information above and beyond what is offered out-of-the-box. Among the custom variables are <<DateNowShort>> and <<DateNowLong>> offering a couple different ways to display the date.
If you would like to know more about this product, check out our website here: www.rite.us/.../RITELabel.aspx, or feel free to give our sales team a call or drop them an email at sales@rite.us!
Good morning Iraj,
Thank you for posting your label printing question.
I would think the easiest way to do this would to use the Label Designer; and modify your label to include Last Received.
When using the Label Wizard to print labels you can select to print labels for the PO you received; and the Last Received date would be the date the PO was received.
Hopefully this helps.
Todd
