We found an issue and are wondering why it is happening, and if it can be avoided. Below is the case:
A sales order is created on 10/18 so that is the date in the /Document Date/ field. A warehouse shipment is then created on 10/19, and posted. Whatever the /posting date/ on that warehouse shipment becomes a new /document date/ on the original sales order/. Does anyone know why this happens, and can it be changed to not do so?

Hi, this is standard behavior. When posting, the system will update the Posting Date of the Warehouse Shipment to the Sales Order. Then when the Posting Date is updated, the Document Date will also be automatically updated.

Fortunately, this problem can be solved through a new setting in the BC23 version. I've tested it, and worked well.
