Service Order - Nothing to Post

Hello,

I have successfully been able to post Sales and Purchase Invoices as intended with everything flowing correctly, but for some reason cannot get Service Orders to Post.

I keep receiving a There Is Nothing To Post Error. Context - Service Line, Quote, "", 0.

I have my service completed with resource and item charges.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dustin,

When trying to Post the Service Order, are you selecting option - Ship and Invoice or Ship and Consume? If the latter, then have you posted the Service Lines and have a Qty. to Consume populated? Also, if you are trying to Post- Shipment only, from the Service Order, make sure when on the Service Lines the Qty. to Ship has a value, then Post.

Hi Steve,

Currently I'm just trying to Post Invoice. I'm in the process of ensuring everything is flowing through financials correctly in a Sandbox environment.

It is just There is nothing to post. Context: Service Line Quote, "", 0.

Dustin,

You have not Posted- Shipment yet. You need to perform that step shipping those Service Lines. Check the Qty. to Ship on the Service Lines to see if >0 and then Post Ship and then Post Invoice or you can do both together.
