We have now gone live with 3/7 companies in our new GP2013 environment and it is moving along nicely. One item that I don't like is the Currency ID now showing up in the various screens and reports. Using Management Reporter and Scribe we had to setup the currency or they don't work properly. We only use AUD and now the $A is showing on GL screens, trial balance reports, downloads. This makes the values TEXT fields in downloads and just takes up screen space.
Is there a way to have a functional currency but to prevent it showing?

1.) Navigate to: Tools - Setup - System - Currency.
2.) Pull up the currency id in question
3.) Change the "Symbol: Currency" to whatever you desire (you should see it's currently set to $A).
