Hi!
We utilize multiple business central companies (70+), which have a shared list of customers. Sales is being executed for all these companies by a centralized team. Is it possible for the sales team, when visiting a customer, to see outstanding balances etc across all companies?
Have a look at Sharperlight, a reporting solution for Business Central. It can synchronise multiple companies and tenancies into a BC centric data mart (SQL Server database), you can then query across multiple companies. Sharperlight has an add-in into Microsoft Excel but it sounds like you will be interested in its web reporting and dashboarding. It uses a delta sync to insert new and update existing records, so it doesn't reload data over and over again. Very easy to setup and you can control how it is deployed and secured.
I think the best approach for this would be to export the data to a datawarehouse. Build a Power BI report on top of that DWH and make that report avalible where you need it in Business Central.
there is no standard way but you can achieve it with some customization
