Programming BulletProof Error 10089

Hi

Has anyone experienced a programming bulletproof error 10089 message followed by a system message 10063 and know how to resolve this issue?

The user is getting this message on the shippers screen on doing a return.  The 10089 states " warning database displayed during a database transaction.  Attempting to display, system message 9, item not found".

This is then followed by the system message 10063 " attempting a database update outside of a transaction".

Any suggestion will be appreciated.
