Transfer of data from HQ to STORES.

Hello,i'm new to Microsoft Dynamics RMS (2 WEEKS OLD) and i'm loving the experience.I need to know if i can synchronize my HQ and STORE on the same computer without actually needing a second computer,an internet connection and a HQ SERVER.And how do i know the quantity of ITEMS in the HQ and STORE before and after transfer.

    It is impossible to download records from HQ to Store without using HQ Server AND HQ Client. Synchronization between hq and store requires atleast hq server and a client even without an internet.

    One can have the HQ, HQ Client and SO all on the same machine.

    Set up the HQ Client to communicate with the HQ Server. then most changes made in SO will be sent to HQ and visa versa.  Read up in Help what the Store can/can't do in a HQ environment as its now restricted.

    Okay,i have just figured out where i can locate(EDIT ITEM - SELECT ITEM - PROPERTIES - INVENTORY)  the quantity available before transfer in the HQ...All i need now is to know now is if there is any need to synchronize the HQ to the STORE on a single(stand alone computer)
