I am posting item journal.

Inventory G/L account credit

Inventory adjustment account debit.

But I want to assign separate dimensions for above G/L . For Inventory dimension A and for adjustment account dimension B.

Is there any possibility.

I have the same question (0)

There is no standard functionality that i know of that will allow you to have different dimensions to those two account when you post through the sales / purchase or warehouse functionality.

That is because the transactions posted to these two accounts will originate from the same item ledger entry / sales line / purchase line. And you can only have one set of dimensions connected to those entities.

So you will have to do some kind of customization to achieve this - at least i see no other way.

You cannot do in this in an item journal.

Hi, You need to make adjustments in the General Journal after posting.
This feature is not supported by default.

    Hope this helps as well.

    Thanks.
