I am looking to change ALL qty in my inventory. We're basically starting from scratch but we don't want to re-enter all of our part numbers. Is there an easy way to zero these all out?

|Thanks in advance

A SQL query can be run to accomplish this. Call 888-267-7483 if you need assistance.

If this is store op then you can directly update your inventory to zero, just execute this query on your store op database

update item set quantity = 0

I have found the easiest way to do this is to generate a physical inventory, don't count anything, then calculate it, then commit it.  That should reset everything to zero

You can also run a query through RMS Store Operations Administrator.  Before running any query, I always back up the database, as it cannot be undone.  Connect to the database in RMS Admininstrator, select Query and New.  Type Update Item, Set Qty=0.

That should reset the quantity of everything in your database to zero

    Glad it works!

As what jburkle has said, do backup before executing any query. A single query can cause trouble if mistype you know :)
