Retail: Problem with method of payment Cash

Hi!

Using the standard D365 POS I receive the following error when I click on "Pay cash quick"

"Cash is not an accepted form of payment. Use a different payment method and then try again."

In my store I already set up the method of payment Cash, in Pos operation name I selected Pay cash quick.

Any idea of the missing setup?

Thank you in advance.

    Hi SAMR Marianna,

When you select some payment options or other settings there are some periodic jobs which needs to be run to get all details correctly in the POS. Currently, I don't have an environment running to check the exact name and menu path.

    Hi Marianna,

"Pay cash quick" only works for "Cash" Payment type.

    Some screenshots from standard D365:

If you open Screen layout assigned on a store, go to Button grids and select Button grid ID for Payment methods, open Designer:

Then you select Button for Pay cash quick and check properties. Action should be = Pay cash quick, Payment type= Cash:

After that please run 9999 job to be sure all changes are distributed to POS.

Thank you for your reply. I launched "Run now" on the job 99999 (all jobs). After that, I had no result. I noticed that in my case, in addition, it was necessary to Deactivate the POS and then activate it again after clearing the cache browser. It was a problem of synchronization.

    kind regards.

    Marianna

    Hi Marianna,

So your issue is solved now by reactivation and clearing caches?
