Internal CRM url able to automatically login in the CRM installation server but when I enter Internal CRM URL in the different m/c windows authentication popup.
Tried:
1)Add ADFS url https://sts1.xxxx.com in the intranet zone
After Research on error
When I enter Internal CRM URL in the different m/c windows authentication popup. In the windows authenticatino popup If I provide DomainName\UserName unable to login CRM.
But if i provide username in the windows authentication pop up I am able to login CRM.
So My assumption when the enter internal CRM url system automatically tried to login username with domain name (DomainName\UserName) So it fails and open up windows authentication.
Case:1(Failure)
- Launch IE browser
- System internally provides minsa\slakshaman(which is correct)
- ADFS fails because it cannot authenticate to domain
Case:2(pass)
- Launch browser
- Case 1 fails, windows authentication pop up
- We have provide only username(without domainname)
- ADFS automatic domain resolve(works)
Question
How ADFS should I provide ADFS authenticate with domain name?
