How to use Microsoft data exported tool with QuickBooks

Hi all,

I wanted to export the data from Quickbooks desktop and then import the same in the Business Central. I was using Microsoft Data Exporter to export the data it started giving us error "An account number cannot be empty." Also, We are working on Intuit QuickBooks desktop V 3 (2020) and Microsoft Data Export v 1 (2018).

Can anyone please suggest a way out to export the data from QuickBooks?

Quick question

Are you using QuickBooks Data Migration app in BC (the following) or this is a different method?

If you are using this app did you follow the guide line (link below) that mention "Business Central requires that general ledger accounts have account numbers assigned to them. Make sure that account numbers are assigned to your accounts in QuickBooks. If transactions in QuickBooks have tax amounts, you must set up a tax account for your tax jurisdictions in Business Central before you can post transactions."?
