"The payment amount exceeds the maximum amount that is allowed for the transaction"

Hi,
I get this message for cash transactions where amount is higher than maximum specified in payment methods:
"The payment amount exceeds the maximum amount that is allowed for the transaction.  Enter a different payment amount and then try again."


I would like to get the same message for card payments, how can I achieve that?

I cannot get a similar message to appear at the beginning of card payments where amount exceeds maximum specified in payment methods.

    Following up - the request to change this feature, I mentioned earlier fix.lcs.dynamics.com/.../ is not going to be changed.

    If this feature needs to be working in a different way, we suggest to fix it via extensions.

    Hello,

    At the moment this is not possible to get.

    If you set up 'Maximum amount per transaction' on Card Payment method, this will be verified only once you enter Card data and click OK. The system will check this maximum amount and if it is over limit, the transactions will be rejected.

    We have a request to change this behavior, but it might come only in/after 10.0.9. Please follow up the LCS:

    fix.lcs.dynamics.com/.../

    Have you set the maximum amount at the store payment method? Does this is caused by bug or customization issue?
