Outlook Client without offline support still installs SQL server compact

Hi!

When I install the full 2016 Outlook Client I choose not to install offline functionality, but still SQL server compact is installed. Any ideas as to why this is? I don't want client computers filled up with more than needed.

    Hi PK,

This is part of the install and not something that can be stopped from being installed.  User can decide to choose to "Go Offline" later and it does not choose to install then but to install right away so it completes the installation successfully from the start and does not cause a problem if the user decides to enable in future to go offline.

    Thanks,

Thanks! But what is the "offline functionality" checkbox during install then? It is unchecked by default.
