Hello all i am trying to connect CRM 2016 to outlook with little success at the moment.

Can you help me out or point any guide i can follow?

    Hi,

    I'd suggest using the Dynamics 365 App for Outlook - the Outlook client is being deprecated. You do need to have server side sync enabled.

    Here are the steps to turn it on and deploy it for your users:

    and the user guide:

    www.microsoft.com/.../dynamics-365-app-for-outlook-user-s-guide.aspx
