Does the MS Professional Service Migration Services team still exist??

I am sure they do. I would start by contacting Professional Serveices.
If not, I have spent the last 20 years doing migrations and would be more than willing to help out. Are you going to GP and from what are you migrating?
I spoke to our MS GP Partner and they said that MS Professional Services is no longer performing any data conversions to GP, and specifically no data conversions from QuickBooks to GP. I have two clients that needed QuickBooks to Dynamics GP 2013 Data Conversion Services to convert all their Transaction History and full Inventory to GP 2013 and in talking with Microsoft Tech Support Rep he recommended "Conversion Services Corp.". I contacted CSC last month and they performed the data conversion projects for our customers with great results, I would highly recommend using their data conversion services for GP.
Here is some background on how I arrived in this situation. Our first customer had 10 QuickBooks Enterprise 2012 and 6 QuickBooks Enterprise 2013 Company files that needed to be converted to GP 2013 with all Transaction History. Most import to this client was that 80% of all their QuickBooks Transactions were Vendor Bills to be converted to GP PM Transactions and Vendor Bill Payment Checks that need to be "applied" to the PM Transactions in GP. I had originally contacted three of the top GP Partners thinking that they would have the best capability to perform these conversions but they could not. There are no tools available to actually "apply" GP Manual Checks to GP PM Transactions using the standard tools available to MS Partners (Rapid Migration Tool, Integration Manager, Scribe, eConnect).
Our other customer had 45 Dynamics SL 7.0 (Solomon) Company files and needed all Transaction History converted to Dynamics GP 2013. This customer had over four million Customer Invoices and 3 million AP Invoices, Checks and Credit Memos and a large Chart of Accounts.
The team over at CSC converted all the data from my QuickBooks client and all data from my Dynamics SL client including all their Transaction History. They created GP Batches, posted all the batches to the GL, ran the Year-end Closing procedures and sent us the completed Dynamics GP Company database backup files to restore on the clients SQL Server 2008 R2 production Servers. When MS PS did the QuickBooks conversions they would just insert the data into the GP “History” Tables and call it a day. The CSC Service gave us a fully “usable” GP Company database with real drill-down from the GL to the original Transaction. GP also then included full audit trail and all links between the Transactions and the “applied” Transactions and all GL Distributions. I was like all the data was hand typed into GP and was exactly what our clients wanted.
CSC provided us with a Chart of Accounts Excel Mapping file for us to “map” the QuickBooks and SL Accounts to the new GP Account Framework and Account structure. They used the COA Excel Mapping file to rework all the Transactions to the new Account format for the conversion to GP. We did the same for the Vendors, Customers, Inventory Items and Employees.
I wanted to provide as much detail as possible about the CSC GP Data Conversion Services because it was hard for me to find a company that has professional level GP Data Conversion technology that actually works. I wasted so much time and money with many people that “said” they could do it only to find out they all use the same four basic tools available to MS Partners and “none” of these companies could perform a full Transaction History conversion with all the “applied To” Transaction links in GP and full drill-down from the GL to the “actual” AR/AP Transactions.
Hopefully this will save you some time, you can visit their website at http://www.conversionservicescorp.com.
