Customize position of name/timestamp in notes - above rather than below

Using: CRM Dynamics Online

There seems to have been some changes recently  which have affected notes saved by our sales team.  The lack of formatting was the first thing that they noticed, but the one that they're having trouble accepting, is that the name of the user who made the note and date/timestamp is now below each note, rather than above it.  I've looked into the options for customizing the system (ex. entities/notes/view) but haven't been able to find a way to switch this back.

Anybody else experience this or come across a way to change it?

Thanks.

Mark, we have run into a very similar and frustrating issue with the associated notes table on the contact form.  Previously the Title of the note was shown and now its the Comment which means the user must click through to reach each Title.  In addition we not longer seem to able to customise the notes table on the form to use a different view and even if we change the associate view to include title that is not being picked up by the system.

    Thanks.

We have the same problem PLUS the user and date stamps on each note are all showing the same name and time so can't see who's updated each note nor when they did it.

Has anyone found a way to revert to the original display via the customisation options within CRM?  We have not been able to and have raised a support issue with Microsoft to confirm that a) this change is due to the recent update and b) how best to resolve it and reset the Notes view.

Raised a technical support case with Microsoft and found that following the upgrade you have to manually complete the upgrade process by going to Settings > Administration and the selecting product updates and running the update process.

Thanks David, that looks like quite the update.  I didn't even notice that option in the admin section beforehand.  We're probably not going to update just yet though.  I showed the couple examples provided on the "What's New" page to the sales team and they weren't sure about it and decided to hold off for now.

Did it fix the issues that you were having?  We've noticed since that some leads all have the same username and today's timestamp on every note dating back several years, which sounds just like what you described yesterday.

We still have a similar issue. If we update notes, the preceding note is also changed to the same user and time stamp. We've run the product update process but not applied the new forms yet - it's a two stage process. Once you've run the upgrade you can see the new forms in Customisation and play around with them until you're happy.

    Regards

    David

That sounds alright... the two stop process.  Guess I'll mark this as answered, start up the process and hope for the best then!  I really hope the timestamps get resolved too, but if not I'll just have to open a support ticket and hope that they can fix it.

    Cheers,

    Mark

Let us know if running the second step of the two step process does sort out your notes display issue and the timestamp display and ordering issue.

    With thanks,

Seems once you've manually completed the upgrade process by going to Settings > Administration and the selecting product updates and running the update process and then left it overnight, the user and time stamp issues are resolved.  We haven't deployed the new forms yet.
