Dynamics CRM Creating milestones in Projects entity

I have created a projects entity and within the main form I want to add a section with milestones. They should be displayed as a list and can be ticked off when they are completed what is the best way to do this. I have created a separate milestones entity but not sure how I can display it on the project.

Create the Project Tasks entity and you can create a Milestone record as a type of Project task with duration of zero. You can then create a view to display the list of milestones for you. Add an associated grid on the Project entities by selecting the entity as Project  tasks and view as All Milestones. hope this helps.

Milestone is normally restore scented as an activity or a task but with zero duration.

    Thanks for that.

The milestones are not tasks at the moment they are just a list of stages within the project.

Do you know if it is possible to create a workflow that does the following. I have managed to complete the first bit.

Once the opportunity is closed as Won create a Project record with the same opportunity tittle.

Then create a milestone with the same tittle and attach it to that project. (This is where I am stuck)

    Thanks

Create a workflow which fires on the creation of the project record and within the workflow, create a milestone record and attach it to the opportunity record. Copy the title of the project record to the milestone record within the workflow.

I have tried that it doesn't show up on the projects form I have to manually search and find the correct milestone. I want it to appear automatically in the project entity via a workflow.

That's weird. It should be straight forward. Can you paste the screenshot of your workflow to create a milestone?

I hope you have created a relationship between the Project entity and the Milestone entity and within the workflow step to create a Milestone record, you are populating the Project Lookup with the dynamic value {Project(Project)}.

Not sure if this is a silly question but where can I attach a image?

I have managed to solve it. Thanks a lot for your help. :)
