Enabeling Master Planning Processes after it was disabled

Hi all,
of course I walked right into a trap.
The master planning parameter was already on "no" so it was enabled, and I set it to "yes" (disabled).
So I tried to undo my mistake but I cant and I am being referred to "https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2219798".
tbh I didnt find a clue to disable the parameter to enable masterplanning....
really a tricky parameter.

Any idea?
Thank you!
BR

    thanks for you quick response!
Since we are on a customer environment, we dont have access, so I will contact their Admins.
But how can it be enabled (obviously by default bc its a new DataArea) when it was not installed?
Just curious and not experienced in the Add-in stuff.

    Hi @Mohamed Amine Mahmoudi
Yeah ... since we got a blank/massively reduced copy from their PRD environment it seems not everything was copied/taken to their test environment. Encountered also other problems.
So your answer was very helpful.
    thank you!

As Mohamed says you need to Install planning optimization.
This is Because Microsoft has deprecated the Master planning engine, for the planning optimization as you can see here:
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/supply-chain/master-planning/deprecated-master-planning-overview

There is still a possibility to use the deprecated master planning engine, but documentation says that you need to install planning optimization and then de-activate for the legal entities that you need to use the deprecated engine.

    See this link:

Assuming that is this is a Sandbox environment, what you should do is:

    Try activating this option:

It that doesnt work PITR to the moment before you make the changes

The last option is to install planning optimization add-in and then exclude the companies from using it.
