Something went wrong Please try again later

Hi,

We have several users getting the error message "Something went wrong Please try again later". It happens with different timing when working with different functions in BC. Once a week, several times a day. When it happens we need to close down the whole browser to be able to restart again.

can this be related to hosting or is it any settings within the application or on server level that we need to review? Does anyone know?

Hi, We have a similar problem for an on premise Business Central. As described by mornjager, it happens to random users at random times. Mostly when a user has multiple tabs for the same session. We have multiple companies. When the browser client crashes, after re-opening, the browser opens to another company and not the company that the user was working in. Any suggestions on where to look is appreciated.

If you are using Business Central online you first should check if you have any customized code in your solution that could cause this behavior.

If that is not the case you can reach out to your partner and have them open a supportcase with Microsoft around this.

I have seen this behavior a few times my self and then I have normally been able to track it down to some custom code that is not working correctly. But there could of course also be other reasons for this happening.

There is also Telemetry available that your partner and Microsoft can look at.
