Business Process Flow - Not able to delete stage

(0) ShareShare

Posted on by 2

I have a business process flow that operates against an Opportunity.  It has five stages and I wish to remove one of them.

I click on the stage, but the "Delete" button is grayed out.  Why cannot I delete the stage?

Thank you for your help.

It could be a dependency restriction.

Have you tried first removing the components that follow it individually?

Did you deactivate the process flow?

Yes, I did deactivate the process.

It is the first stage within the flow.  I understand that the following stages are dependent upon it, but should I not be able to delete it and make the second stage the starting stage?

    Hi,

As it is the starting point of your BPF, everything is then built on it. That is probably the reason why you can't remove it.

The easiest way is to copy manually the 2nd step in the 1st one. Then you easily erase the 2nd step.

It answers my question. Thank you.
