How can I change the Local Currency Symbol to show correct Symbol? the General Ledger Setup has 'Local Currency Symbol' = '£' but all the pages in BC shows'($)' as local currency.

Thanks.

    Hi,

The dollar sign symbols its used as guide to know the label or the textbox its currency focused and does not affect the functionality of the system.
It is highly recommended that you can vote in Idea portal and Microsoft will evaluate it. The more votes an idea receives, the more likely it is to be included for a future release.

    Hi all,

Have you found a solution for this? We have changed the language and region on settings and that did not do the trick.
    Seems like a bug.

    Any info will be appreciated!

I tested in Cloud BC, I get same result showing "($)" The Version is: US Business Central 23.0 (Platform 23.0.14643.0 + Application 23.0.12034.12676)
Where can I check "specific localization"?

Sign-out and log back in with the user to see the changes, for on-Prem it could be You need to restart services.

Although checked the systems I have access to, and all of them just show Balance (LCY) not the symbol.

Which version of BC are you using? and Do You have a specific localization? Could be that there is page extension, that always shows $ sign, no matter of the LCY setup.
