Sending a lead page to a distributor

Hey All,

We want to share information with a distributor through the lead page.  We are a retail company who receives leads everyday, some stay with us and some we shoot to a distributor.  What we do is fill in the first lead page, but do not qualify it.  We would like to send all the information in those fields that are filled in to our distributor of choice.  The way we want to be able to do that is selecting the distributor through an email that can be generating off that same lead page.  Can this be done?

    Hi VaporApparel,

    Absolutely:

    You could set up either:

    1. A team for each distributor and assign the lead to that distributor (e.g. if you only have a small number of distributors and want to report on their work alongside your own staff teams).  The distributor would become the owner of the Lead.

    OR

    2. Add another field onto your lead record:  'Distributor Assigned To' (lookup to a filtered list of Accounts).  You may also want to send the leads to a specific email address within that distributor - so you may also need an additional field on the Account for 'Email Address to Send Leads to'

    Then you could use a simple workflow (on the Lead entity) that whenever a lead was assigned to a Team (or when the 'Distributor Assigned To' field was filled in/changed); it could send an email to the default email address associated with that Team (or Distributor Account).  That could pick up any/all of the details on the Lead record or associated records.

    If they don't have access to your CRM, then option 2 as described in the other reply would be your best bet.  Setup a workflow to send an email to the distributor's email address with details of the lead.

    Hi mscrmba,

    Could you explain the field in lead record:  'Distributor Assigned To' (lookup to a filtered list of Accounts)? How would it get populated?

    I have a flow that creates new leads from form submissions on website. Then the lead is assigned using assignment rules in D365 based on sales representative's Territory and Segments (based on Country/Region of lead).

    The distributors don't have the access to D365 in my case. So if distributors' leads are assigned to me and the Account couldn't be an owner of the lead how would I populate 'Distributor Assigned To'? Do I need to create a separate flow with a bunch of conditions for each country?
