Importing Bank Transactions into Dynamics GP

Hi Everyone,

I have recently shifted from public accounting to private and noticed how tedious and time consuming it is to enter bank transactions into the GL manually. I have been researching into options for automating this process; however, the information online is very overwhelming and confusing. I think I can purchase integration manager for this, but am not quite sure how it exactly works. Another thing I came across online is the bank transaction copy/paste application. Has anyone used these applications to import bank transactions into GP? If so, can you please shed some light on how it works and if it actually is more efficient?

Thanks,

Apeksha

My two cents :)   I would buy SmartConnect from www.eonesolutions.com rather than Integration Manager.  I use S/C all the time for this and it's great, and FAST!

Depending on your level of technical expertise, the Integration Manager is an end-user tool and is therefore easier to set up and use. I, too, am a big fan of SmartConnect, but you need to have a little geek in you in order to use it.

Using Integration Manager is easier to learn, but SmartConnect is more powerful.
