Workflow screens

I am at the end of my rope. I have upgraded a customer from 2010 to 2015 R2. The new features that are supposed to be available (workflow for gl batches, payables batches, payables transactions) aren't available. The windows do not offer putting something into workflow. The only windows that show a submit button are in purchasing. As all of the documentation for workflow is 2013.... I am at a loss. Any help would be appreciated.
