On Premise CRM2013 Custom Reports Reporting Error (rsProcessingAborted) Error

(0) ShareShare
ReportReport
Posted on by

Hello,

We converted a CRM2011 system to CRM2013 recently, and then implemented IFD/ADFS.  Everything ran fine in CRM2011.  After we converted the organizations, all custom reports did not run.  Out of the box reports continues to run.

The error we see is "Reporting Error: The report cannot be displayed. (rsProcessingAborted)"

The CRM2013 is running a a separate server than the Database and SSRS.  All other SSRS reports are running fine.

Any comments, suggestions or assistance is greatly appreciated.

    Hi PCR985,

Please follow below steps and it should fix the issue:-

    1) Checked what is the account running CRM app pool in IIS. If you have a custom account running it then go ahead with below steps.

    2) Add below SPNs

    setspn -a http/<crmservername> <domainname/crmapppoolaccount>

    setspn -a http/<crmservername>.FQDN <domainname/crmapppoolaccount>

    3) Then run below steps on CRM server to set UseAppPool Credentials to true

Set the IIS useAppPoolCredentials value to True

    1. Open an elevated command prompt window. To open an elevated Command Prompt window, click Start, point to All Programs, click Accessories, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator.
    2. Navigate to %windir%\system32\inetsrv.
    3. Type appcmd.exe set config -section:system.webServer/security/authentication/windowsAuthentication -useAppPoolCredentials:true

    Hi,

are you using the sql  query directly on crm tables ? if using then change them to filtered views then try . due to sequrity reason this won't work if using sql table in other servers.

    Thanks

All of the custom reports were created and deployed with the CRM Report Wizard.  So should be using the Fetch XML Data Source.

Also make sure both servers are on the same UR.
