Posting Errors

Posted on by 5

You cannot assign new numbers from the number series P-RCPT.

I checked the No. Series and did not find any errors.

Hi, As the above two experts said, You need to check the settings of No. Series P-RCPT.

    For example:

    Hope this will help.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

This is probably because the "No. Series Lines" does not exist or the "Ending No." is less than the "Last No. Used".
Below is test result in my test environment using Cronus company.

Case1 : Settings("No. Series Lines" does not exist)

Case2 : Settings("Ending No." is less than the "Last No. Used".)

    Error Message : (Both Case)

I hope this is helpful to you.

You could also restart the instance and try again and also check in the number series setup whether Default No. field is enabled.

Did you check the no.series lines as well. Could the number limitation or date limitation be exceeded.

When i have got the same error it has always been something wrong with the setup of my number series.
