Discounts in Transport management in D365

Hi Experts,
 
Can anyone throw light on how to offer discount on transportation cost only to customer (in transportation management module). I tried using discounts (in transportation management) to offer 10% discount only to customer, but it did not work.

    Applying a customer-specific discount to transportation costs involves configuring Transportation Management Discounts. These discounts can be set as a percentage or a fixed amount and designated to benefit either the customer or the shipper. To implement a 10% discount exclusively for a particular customer, navigate to Transportation management > Setup > Rating > Discounts. Here, create a new discount entry, specify the discount type as Customer, set the discount value to 10%, and use qualifiers to target the specific customer. Ensure that the discount's effective dates and any additional conditions align with your requirements. Proper setup ensures that the discount is applied during the rating process, effectively reducing the transportation charges billed to the designated customer.
