Greetings;

I have a problem, I am tried override a document in sales module and system show me this message: You cannot override this document

Its happens in the follow transaction windows: Maintenance accounts receivable transactions posted

Hi Gio,

You can only void transactions that do not have any amounts applied to them. There are some other special limitations if you are using GST, but I don't remember them just now.

I see you are getting:

The English equivalent of this error is:

Unable to void this document

Typically, this message indicates that the document has an apply amount associated with it.

If nothing should be applied to this invoice, you can try to resolve this through the following steps:

1. Go to Microsoft Dynamics GP|Tools|Utilties|Sales|Reconcile

2. In the Reconcile area, select Outstanding Document Amounts

3. Under Options, mark the Reconcile and Print Report options.

4. For the Range, select the Customer ID in the FROM/TO.

5. Click Process.

6. See if the issue still persists.
