I have this same issue. Case don't show in the list but they are there, Accounts also don't show. This started happening recently, i believe with the May updates.
My apologies, we are using CRM Dynamics 2016 on Prem, and are up to date on patches.

You have not mention which CRM version you are using, in case you are using on premise make sure you have latest roll up installed, as Edge is supported : community.dynamics.com/.../dynamics-crm-support-with-windows-10-edge-browser-and-office-2016
