URL to force prompt for user login?

We have a Dynamics Business Central implementation, but it is in a different tenancy to our regular tenancy. Up until November 2021, users were able to seamlessly switch between accounts with no issue, but now when they access Business Central, it tries to use the logged in user because it tries to set up an new instance of BC, which fails and the user cannot log in or switch account.

In background, we have Exchange Online and other Office 365 apps in a tenancy of XYZ.com - this was set up by a managed service provider, and we have limited control to this tenancy.
We have Dynamics Business Central (and some other LOB applications) in a tenancy of ABC.net - and we have full control of this tenancy.
We are 100% cloud and have no local infrastructure.

When users log in to their computer, they use their XYZ.com account, and complete 90% of their daily tasks. When they need to access Dynamics Business Central, up until recently they would be able to select their ABC.net account from a Microsoft account picker, and then they would have access to Business Central, in a different tab of the same browser.

Now, when users attempt to access the Business Central system, the browser decides to just pick up their XYZ.com login, which will make Dynamics start setting up a new environment, and then give the user an error that they cannot exit and they cannot select an account to use.

At the moment, we are getting users to clear all their cookies and cache, and open in an InPrivate/Incognito tab, and go to https://dynamics.microsoft.com/en-au/business-central/signin/ - which works for their first login, but any time they exit that tab, they will again need to clear all cookies and cache as the browser keeps on trying to use their current credentials.

Is there a URL or a setting that we can do to force Dynamics to prompt for a login? Is there a way we can get the system to prompt for login? I know this is probably the opposite of what many people want - I imagine most people want no prompt, but can we do the opposite?

    Hello,

You can create a second browser profile and separate these two experiences from each other.

Currently I have 7 in Edge and a few in Chrome. The only thing that I left as untouched is the sleeping browser tab configuration.

The same applies to Chrome browser. If you explain this to your users as it requires a bit of configuration, they will love it.

    Thanks.
