Power BI report in an Dynamics 365 Form

Hello everyone, I have the following problem. I need to embed a Power BI report into a form, and there is a pre-built component for this.

The problem is that the specified method for this has been disabled since July 32, 2024, and now only embedded Power BI dashboards can be integrated.

So far, so good, but when I do this, I can't embed Power BI into a form. Has this functionality also been disabled, or am I missing something?

Best regards :)

I've always used the Power BI Embedder  Â· XrmToolBox to do any embedding rather than the Out of Box component, especially if filtering is required. The XRM toolbox tool has a very user-friendly interface and makes it easy to embed and add a context sensitive filter. Maybe give that a shot and see if it works for you?

As a side note, the MS Learn article on embedding reports was just updated in January of this year and is not marked as deprecated, so I'm not sure why that error message is appearing for you. Embed a Power BI report in a model-driven app main form - Power Apps | Microsoft Learn

Hey, thanks for the quick response. I understand that I can use the XRM Toolbox for my use case or edit the XML using the guide to achieve this. But I don't understand why the "Power BI" component can't be used on the form? It seems like this used to work according to several tutorials. Or am I misunderstanding something? Many thanks.
