Team member trade up license

Hello

For the OnPremise Dynamics 365 business central solution. When we aquire a team member licence and after that we want to move this licence from team member to premium user, is there any tradeup process ? Or should we bought a new premium user?

If you are on prem you will have to purchase a new premium user. But when you order that from your partner it will not harm to ask if they can cut you a good deal on the new licenses or have them ask Microsoft if there is any promotions that can be used in your case.
