How to extend features in business central ?

Hi, when a feature is turned on from feature management, the symbols are still missing in AL.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

(I understand that it will be part of the business application code later on, or be added to an optional extension, but is there a way to extend them while still being a preview feature?)

    Hi,

    If it is a feature that is possible to enable then the symbols should be available when you download them to VS code even though you have not enabled them.

    Exception here is features that requires it own app. Then you will have to make a dependency in your AL project to get the symbols downloaded.

    Hi, Inge is right, if the Base Application includes a feature that is not enabled, even if you don't enable it, the downloaded Symbol file will also contain this part of the code. Like the new price module.

    However, some extensions do exist in the system that cannot be seen on the Extension Management page.

    For example,

    For these extensions, you need to find their name, ID, and add them to Denpendance before they can be downloaded.
