The error is a generic error and most likely you will need MS Support to help you troubleshoot this.

Maybe something that you can take a look at is:

When you try to access the entity form, do have the id of the record that you are trying to access as part of the form?

    Hope this helps

    Hi

Like others mentioned, its hard to say why it fails from this generic message.

I would check if there are any plugin errors in CRM, perhaps you could try and update the same record from within CRM and see if your update works to rule out its not caused by a plugin or a real-time workflow

If your portal does not have much content or customization, worst-case scenario, resetting is also an option

    Hello,

    Try the below:

    1. In the Entity Form, make sure you are selecting the correct CRM form (do a publish all customization before). Sometimes, if you change the CRM form, the portal entity form referencing that form will throw an error.

    2. Put all the required fields on the entity form and try again

    Thanks Everyone,

    Sorry for delay in response.

Actually I had created a web page for contact details (Contact Edit form)

I updated same web page to student details (Student Edit form)

so, The Localized Content of web page was still at Contact Edit form

we need to update Localized content web page also if we are updating from CRM.
