Microsoft Dynamics CRM (Archived)

Do you need licenses to grant user access to the marketing Calendar and Sales Portal? I have seen conflicting answers and need affirmation....

I have been told that read only access does not require a license.  Is that so?  Can a non licensed Marketing user (licensed CRM user) access (view) the marketing sales collaboration view?
