Deleting CRM account(s) what other records will be deleted (Like Contacts, activities, etc.)

I am attempting to refresh CRM data in DEV environment. This requires that I delete most Accounts using bulk delete. Will contacts, activities and other records associate with the account also be deleted?

Yes when you delete accounts all child contacts , activities, notes also delete.

Thank you...I can't find documentation detailing delete process either manually or Bulk that actually describes what happens, ways to check that child records are gone, ways to re-attach contacts and activities after refreshing Account, etc.

Deletion of child records when parent record deleted.. is all based on relationship behavior.
