How to setup a D365 on premise environment and what are the requirements?

I would like to install a D365(or lower, I just need the latest version for promise) on premise environment on my local machine for development. Where can I start? What are the requirements and how can I set it up. Thank you!

    Hi Marjorie,

    It is not straight forward to install On Premise on your local machine as it requires windows server, SQL Server, IIS, SSRS etc. You will need a virtual machine (Hyper-V etc)

    You can take a look at this blog with screenshot on step by step.

    Hi,

    As suggested you need server machine to install Dynamics 365 or earlier version, but you can setup a virtual machine and use Azure virtual machine check this: www.youtube.com/watch

    Or you can look for the earlier versions like 2016 and then upgrade it to Dynamics 365 : blog.koenig-solutions.com/.../step-by-step-installation-crm-2016
