Dynamics 365 do i need to add entity in the solution.

Hello All Experts,

I have two different entities Post Configuration and Post Configuration Rule entity.

I have one separate solution for which do i need to add these entities such that when i export the solution as manged and move it to the next instance the changes will get reflect.

i am asking this query because i am activating post configuration from settings area.

do i need to directly do it on the production.

    Hi EmployeeOcta,

    If you are talking about the out of the box Post Configuration and Post Rule Configuration entities, then you will not need to include the entities in your solution unless you have modified them. If you are talking about custom entities you have created, then you will need to include them inside your solution. Regardless, you will require a post deployment step of some kind to set the settings, and import Post Configuration and Post Rule Configuration records or set these records up manually.

    Hi EmployeeOcta,

    The entities that you are specifying will be part of the environment that you are importing your data into.

    If you are on Dynamics 365 (or even earlier versions), your target environment will already have these entities as part of their instance.
