Freeze Time Fence

Hi;

My experience in other MRP systems (SAP and Oracle) is that when applying a time fence on a SKU a planned order can still be manually manipulated within that time fence, or a planned order outside of the time fence can be manually pulled forward into the "frozen" period.

We have a need to do that in D365 but when we try to move an unprocessed planned order into the Freeze Time fence period we get an error that states "The order delivery date is within the freezing fence.  The first date out of the freezing time fence is" then the date of our freeze time fence + 1.

Is there some background configuration in the freeze time fence that we can change to allow this?  Is there some other time fence we should be using?  Something else we might be doing wrong?

Thanks!

-Phil
