Moving Average

Posted on by 30

Hi,

I am using Moving average valuation method. I am unable to understand the following :

scenario is  as below:

Amount = 3000

Qty=20

Cost Price= 150

latest purchase was at=200

In the item Master card under the Manage Cost the price is shown as 200. as in below screen shot

where as the actual calculated cost which is 150 is shown on the On-hand inventory as shown below

I want that 150 should be shown under The Manage Cost instead of 200 also when i issue from a movement journal then cost of 200 is being picked up.

any help would be highly appreciated.

Regards,

Sanam Khan

    Uncheck Latest cost price. When checked will update Price with last receipt price which is 200 in this case.
