An error has occurred directly after entering user details. Doesn't matter what Browser i use. Tried this for a user having problems and now, my login doesn't work either. The error is very vague.

Your question is very vague also.

What is the exact issue? When you got this error? What form you are open? What do you expect? Any screenshot?

All the details are in the response I posted earlier. After entering our username and password on our CRM server, we immediately get this vague error.

I would expect to access the CRM dashboards page after entering the username/password.

    Are you online or onprem?

Hopefully is on-prem. Open the deployment manager and check if the organization is enabled? Forcefully enter your organization name after the server URL.

    http://<SERVERNAME>/<ORGNAME>

Check if the async processing service(maintenance) is stopped. If yes, start it and try again.

This is running fine. I have restarted this, but made no difference. Please note, only affecting one user. But does not matter which browser used.

Try to turn on trace - support.microsoft.com/.../how-to-enable-tracing-in-microsoft-dynamics-crm then restart iis, and try again to log in to CRM using that user account. After that recheck trace folder on server for logs - logs generated should contain detailed exception.
