Does anyone have any tips re version control of customizations in CRM please?
We are looking at using TortoiseSVN on the exported xml files, but is this the best way?

Every source control can be usefull, the only feature that I would check is the version compare feature.
If you want to compare the current version with a previous version, you should validate that the compare feature can handle XML files, so that a node that is not at the same place will not be shown as a modification...
