Balance in Functional Currency

Hi!

I have casees some customers Historical Aging report showing few cents outstanding balance in Functional Currency whereas in Originating Currency there is no such amounts outstanding.

Can someone suggest how to make customer balances to zero in both Originating/Functional currencies.

    Minor differences in exchange rate calculations will cause this.  For example, divide 10 by 3 and try to get an exact monetary amount!  It is a rounding error.

    Do you have a rounding account setup?

    Otherwise, you may need to just perform a writeoff.

    We have a similar issue and you cannot use the write off function as there is nothing to write off when looking at the customer balances as everything is cleared. It is only when running the customer trial balance that it shows up.
