More information is required to answer your question.
What are you tying to do?
Is there any information in Power Query? (data transformation)

This error occurs because Power BI Report Builder enforces privacy levels when combining data from different sources (Business Central and Dynamics 365 CRM). Since Business Central (BC) and CRM are separate sources, Power BI prevents merging them without explicitly setting their privacy levels.

Solution Steps to Fix the Error

Step 1: Change Privacy Level Settings in Power BI Desktop

    1. Open Power BI Desktop (not Report Builder).
    2. Go to File > Options and settings > Data source settings.
    3. Select the Business Central and CRM data sources.
    4. Click Edit Permissions and set Privacy Level to Organizational (not Private).
    5. Click OK, then Close.
    6. Refresh the data to check if the issue is resolved.

Step 2: Enable "Ignore Privacy Levels" in Power BI

    1. In Power BI Desktop, go to File > Options and settings > Options.
    2. Under Global > Privacy, enable Ignore the Privacy Levels and potentially improve performance.
    3. Click OK and restart Power BI.

Step 3: Republish the Dataset and Report

    1. Save and publish the corrected Power BI file to the Power BI Service.
    2. Ensure that the dataset is correctly refreshing in Power BI Service.
    3. Open Power BI Report Builder, connect to the updated dataset, and test the report again.

Alternative Solution: Use Power Query to Merge Data Before Report Builder

If the error persists, try merging BC and CRM data inside Power Query (Power BI Desktop) before using them in Report Builder:

    1. In Power Query, import both BC and CRM tables.
    2. Set both sources’ privacy levels to Organizational.
    3. Use Merge Queries in Power Query to combine the data before loading it into Power BI.
    4. Save and publish the dataset to Power BI Service, then use it in Report Builder.

    Final Recommendation

    • The best approach is to set the privacy level to Organizational for both data sources.
    • If needed, enable Ignore Privacy Levels for smoother data merging.
    • If the issue persists, pre-merge data in Power Query before using it in Report Builder.
