I work for a company and we use 365 Dynamics some of the columns are Oldest to Newest data and I would prefer Newest to Oldest, I've tried to create a custom filter but I can't get this right is there any easy way I can set every filter to Newest to Oldest, and for it to stay that way?

Regards,
I have the same question (0)

    Hi Partner,
Or you can edit the original system views' sorting if you are administartor:
Settings > Customization < Customize the system.
Expand entities to find the one you need, and click views to edit the one you need:
Configure sorting in the right pane:

    Hi,

Building on Leah's initial response below, unless you save the changes to your own Personal View the system will always revert it back as you are currently experiencing.

To save the changes to a Personal View, once you've modified the order, if you then click the arrow next to the View name, you will then see the option to 'Save as new view':

This will then prompt you to save it as your own Personal View with the filters you have set. If this is a filter you want to always display to all users automatically, you will need to make the edits to the System View itself in the maker portal.

If this answer helps you, please consider marking it as verified.

    Kind regards,
    Fiona

Thank you for your response, the trouble is once I leave the page it reverts to Old > Newest again on my return, is there anyway to keep it showing Newest > Oldest even when I leave the page?

    Hi Partner,
When you create or edit a view, you can configure the sort order for either ascending or descending.
You want to sort records Newest to Oldest, so you can sort by 'Modified on' column in descending order:
